Zhaleh Fereshteh, “Diva of Shimmies,” is an extraordinary performer and instructor from Tampa, Florida who received the Best Kept Secret award of 1998 by Zaghareet Magazine. She has gained popularity as a phenomenal seminar instructor through her clear instruction and impeccable sense of humor. Her instructional format combines clear and precise breakdown of technique and attentive application to creating dynamic combinations that build on the dancer's musical interpretation and increase the repertoire of movements for improvised or choreographed routines. Zhaleh’s unique teaching style challenges and inspires students of all levels, from beginner to advanced and professional.

Zhaleh is a vivacious performer. Drum solos are her favorite music and she heats up the audience with her fast and furious hip isolations and riveting shimmies. Zhaleh is not only a fabulous dancer, but she is also a dancer's dancer and instructor.
